Affirm accessory financing FAQs

Affirm is a third-party financing company that lets you buy accessories online and pay for them over time.

How it works:

• Select Pay with Affirm when you checkout in My Verizon when purchasing accessories.
• Pay in monthly installments of 3, 6, 12 or 18 months.
• Get 0% APR or 10-36% APR based on credit. Lending partners provide these options.
• Affirm is not available in stores yet. You can use Affirm for purchases on verizon.com.

You need a standard Verizon monthly mobile plan. Affirm also requires an eligibility check. Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners.

Yes, your order must total $49 or more. We calculate this total after discounts. It includes taxes and shipping fees.

Affirm doesn't charge any late fees, service fees, or prepayment fees. We base your payment options on your credit check and purchase amount.

Depending on your eligibility, you can choose:

• Bi-weekly payments: Make 4 interest-free payments every 2 weeks.
• Monthly payments: Pay monthly installments over 6, 12, or 18 months.

You pay 0% APR or 10–36% APR based on your credit check. We calculate your purchase total after we apply discounts. The total includes taxes and shipping.

Checking your eligibility won't affect your credit score. Creating an Affirm account also doesn't affect your score.

However, financing a purchase with Affirm may affect your credit score. Affirm may also report late payments to credit bureaus. View Affirm's Terms of Service for full details.

We don't share any of your Verizon account information with Affirm. If you select Pay with Affirm, we share information about the accessories you're purchasing from Verizon using Affirm financing, and your order confirmation info.

Affirm sends you a welcome email once they approve your application. Use the links in that email to set up your account.

Affirm recommends enrolling in automatic payments so you never miss a bill. Late or partial payments can hurt your credit score. Late payments can also lower your chances of getting future financing.
