Manage Backup Folders

Files in a backup folder are automatically uploaded from your Windows® computer to your Verizon Cloud account via the desktop app. Media already in your Cloud account doesn't sync back down to the backup folder.

Before you begin

Some devices may not sync all the content Verizon Cloud offers. All remaining content is still protected and accessible online (except for messages and call logs) through My Verizon or the Verizon Cloud desktop app.
The ability to back up from your desktop is only available with the Verizon Cloud 2 TB or Unlimited storage plans. Refer to View / Upgrade Online Storage for assistance with changing your storage plan.

Steps

  1. While signed in to the Verizon Cloud desktop app, select the
    Cloud icon
     in the system tray (lower-right).
  2. Select the
    Folder selection icon
     in the toolbar.
  3. Choose the desired folder(s) to upload then select
    Save
    .
