An Access Point Name (APN) is used by your phone to determine how to connect to a public network like the Internet based on the type of data you are transmitting.
Although APN's can be manually changed, adjusting advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT admin prior to altering any of these settings.

Access Point Name (APN) Definitions
- vzwims
- Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
- vzwadmin
- Used for administrative functions.
- vzwinternet
- Required for general Internet connections.
- vzwapp
- Required for PDA data service
- vzwcf
- Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
- xx.vzwentp
- Used for connections to mobile private networks.'xx' is replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
- xx.vzwstatic
- Used for static IP connections.'xx' is replaced by the appropriate static IP pool identifier.
- Access the Admin Web Interface.
- From the left menu, clickJetpack Settings.
- From the Advanced tab, clickContinue(on the right).Ensure the Cellular Data switch is set to on

- From the Networks tab, clickShow Advanced Settings.
- From the 4G LTE APN field, edit the APN as required.
- ClickSave Changes(at the bottom right).
