Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 edge - Turn Voice & Video On / Off - HD Voice

Here's how to turn HD Voice & Video Calling on / off for your Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 edge.

If you turn off HD Voice (Advanced Calling), you won't be able to make or receive calls on the Verizon cellular network.

Open the

Settings app

on your Galaxy S® 6 / S® 6 edge.

Navigate:

Advanced Calling

Tap the

Advanced Calling switch

to turn on or off.

If presented with a confirmation screen, tap

Review the disclaimer regarding billing and data usage.

When turned on, select either of the following to enable or disable:

Enabled when a blue dot is present.

HD Voice and Video Calling

When video calling is turned on, others can see that the phone has video calling.
