Find My Device - Android
Turn Find Hub On / Off

Learn how to activate Find Hub as a security measure for your Android™ device if it's misplaced or stolen. If you ever need to transfer ownership or trade in the device, you’ll also need to know how to disable it.

Before you begin

If you sell, give away or trade in your device, don't use Find My Device to erase the device remotely. This will lock up your device, causing you to lose your trade-in credit. Instead, perform a Trusted Factory Reset via the Settings menu on your device.
A Gmail™ account must be set up on the device to use Find My Device.
To locate a device, it must be powered on and linked to your Google account.
