Activate / Set Up Device - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Activate your G Pad X8.3 to get started. This ensures you can send messages and connect to the internet.
If performing first time (out-of-the-box) setup, ensure the SIM card is inserted.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    Next
    .
  2. From the Tablet activation screen, tap
    Next
    .
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  4. From the Email Accounts screen, tap
    Skip
    .
  5. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  6. Turn privacy and security features on or off then tap
    Next
    .
  7. To copy apps and data, select a backup to restore your content or select
    Set up as new device
    , then tap
    Next
    .
  8. Select any additional options to set up other features (e.g., My Verizon, Verizon Cloud, etc.) then tap
    Done
     to complete the activation.
