Reset the Password for a Verizon Website

If you’ve forgotten your My Verizon password, resetting it will quickly get you back into your account and all your Verizon services.

Before you begin

Resetting the password on one of these sites resets the password for all Verizon wireless online portals: My Verizon, Push to Talk, Verizon Cloud, etc.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the verizon.com website.
  2. Navigate:
    Sign in
    Account overview
    Forgot user ID or password
    .
  3. Enter the 10-digit mobile number or User ID then select
    Continue
    .
  4. Select how you want to approve the request to change the password then select
    Send
    :
    • By text
      A push notification or text message is sent to your device. Follow the prompts approve the password reset and then create a new password.
    • By email
      An email is sent. Select the link in the email to approve the password reset and follow the prompts to create a new password.
    • By US mail
      A letter sent to the account billing address. Follow the instructions in the letter to complete the password reset after it arrives.
