Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - AC791L

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Verizon Jetpack 4G - AC791L or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. Navigate:
    Jetpack Settings
    Advanced tab
    Continue
    .
  3. Select
    SIM
    then do any of the following:
    • Turn SIM PIN On / Off
      1. From SIM PIN Lock Feature, select 'Turn On PIN lock' to enable or 'Turn Off PIN lock' to disable.
      2. Enter the current SIM PIN then select
        Save
        .
        The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    • Modify SIM PIN
      1. From SIM PIN Lock Feature, select
        Update SIM PIN
        .
      2. Enter the current PIN and new PIN into the appropriate fields then select
        Save
