Port Filtering - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - AC791L

Here's how to block access to services or apps on your Verizon Jetpack - AC791L.
  • Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.
  • Port Filtering is an advanced feature. For additional assistance, contact your IT support. To obtain settings, contact the app manufacturer.
  2. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    Port Filtering
    .
  5. From the "Port Filtering" section, select the desired option from the dropdown menu.
    None
    Black List
    Blocks the apps added to the list from accessing the internet.
    White List
    Allows the apps added to the list to access the internet.
  6. If selecting Black List or White List, enter the following then click
    Add
    .
    • Application Name
    • Port
    • Protocol (select from the dropdown menu):
      • TCP
      • UDP
  7. Click
    Save
    (located at the bottom).
    The save option only appears once a change has been made.
