Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (2015) - Turn Automatic App Restore On / Off

Here's info on backing up and restoring app data on your Galaxy Tab S2 (2015).
  • 'Automatic restore' allows backed up settings and data to be automatically restored when an app is reinstalled.
  • When attempting to determine whether a third-party app is the cause of an operating system / app issue, ensure 'Automatic restore' is turned off prior to performing a factory data reset.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings
    .
  2. From the Personal section, tap
    Back up and reset
    .
  3. Tap
    Back up my data
    .
  4. Ensure the
    Back up my data switch
     is on On indicator.
  5. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back Arrow icon.
  6. Tap the
    Automatic restore switch
     to turn on On indicator or off Off indicator.
