Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (2015) - Reset App
Here's how to reset apps if your Galaxy Tab S2 crashes, resets or freezes.
Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.
- Open theApps icon.
- Navigate:.
- Do any of the following:
- Reset Individual AppResetting an app doesn't remove saved items on the device (e.g., texts, pictures, etc.); however, saved passwords for Wi-Fi, settings, backgrounds, etc. within the app itself may be reset.
- Locate then select the appropriate app.If system apps aren't visible, tap theMORE icon
then tap
Show system apps. - TapFORCE STOP.
- On the warning screen, tapFORCE STOP.
- TapCLEAR DATA.Option may not be available for all apps.Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).If Verizon Messages is reset, the tablet will need to be re-paired to the smartphone it is associated with.
- TapOK.
- Reset All App PreferencesThis option resets app preferences for disabled apps, notification restrictions for apps, default apps, background data restrictions for apps, and permission restrictions.
- Tap theMenu icon
