Wireless Network Security Settings - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - AC791L

Here's how to view/change security settings (e.g., password) for your Verizon Jetpack - AC791L.
To view or change network security settings (e.g., Wi-Fi password, number of connected devices) for your Jetpack, see this info.
  2. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. From the Wi-Fi tab, configure Wi-Fi settings as desired:
    Depending upon the selected security type, available options may vary.
    • Wi-Fi Name (SSID)
    • Wi-Fi Password (Key)
      If the Wi-Fi password is changed, the network settings on the computer must updated. For assistance, select the appropriate operating system:

    Network Settings
     then configure the settings as desired:
    Depending upon the selected security type, available options may vary.
    • Encryption:
      • None
      • WPA2 Personal AES
      • WPA/WPA2
    • Broadcast Wi-Fi network name (turned on when switch is blue).
    • Wi-Fi channel (Auto or 1-11)
    • Bandwidth:
      • 20 MHz
      • 40 MHz
    • Max connected devices (1-15)
      This option limits the number of devices connected to your Jetpack.
  5. Click
    Wi-Fi Options
     then configure the settings as desired:
    • Wi-Fi Range:
      • Short (small coverage, uses less power)
      • Medium
      • Long (large coverage, uses more power)
  6. Click
    Save
     (located at the bottom).
    The save option only appears once a change is made.
