Here's how to connect the GPS extension cable on your 4G LTE Network Extender.
- If a stable GPS signal isn't detected, follow the steps below to install the GPS antenna cable.A minimum of 4 satellites are required to provide a GPS location fix. The number of available satellites is shown on the LCD display during setup, or you can access the Network Extender admin page to verify GPS status.
- For best results, place the Network Extender in an elevated location near a south-facing window or a window with a clear view of the sky.
- Ensure the Network Extender is powered off by disconnecting the power adapter from the outlet.
- From the top edge press "open" then remove the GPS antenna cover.
- Press down then detach the GPS Antenna.
- Remove the GPS antenna then connect it to the appropriate end of the GPS antenna cable (mini-coax).
- Connect the GPS antenna cable to the GPS antenna cable connector.Don't force the cable into the mini-coax connector as this may damage it.
- Replace the GPS antenna cover while the cable is threaded through the opening.
- Place the GPS antenna in an elevated location then plug the Network Extender back into a wall outlet and allow the device to go through the setup process again. For best results, place the GPS antenna near a south-facing window or a window with a clear view of the sky, and with the 'GPS' letters facing up.If sufficient GPS signal still can't be acquired, test your Network Extender at a different location.
