Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 7730L - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Jetpack MiFi 7730L or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. Navigate:
    Jetpack Settings
    Advanced tab
    Continue
    .
  3. Click
    SIM
     then do any of the following:
    • Turn SIM PIN On / Off
      1. From the Desired Action dropdown, select 'Turn on PIN lock' to enable or 'Turn off PIN lock' to disable.
      2. In the Enter current PIN field, enter the current SIM PIN then select
        Save Changes
        .
        The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    • Modify SIM PIN
      1. From the Desired Action dropdown, select
        Change PIN
        .
      2. Enter the current PIN and new PIN into the appropriate fields then select
        Save Changes
        .
