Hum by Verizon - Setup Email Info

Here's info on what to do if you can't find or haven't received your Hum activation email.
This info helps if you haven't received your Hum activation email, which can be helpful during the setup process.
  • This email notifies you that your Hum has been set up in our system and provides the following:
    • Your name and vehicle info
    • Next steps to complete activation process
    • Setup video and Hum Customer Service contact info
  • The email usually arrives within 2 hours, but can take up to 24 hours.
If you don't receive the setup email:
  • Check your email spam folder.
  • Check that the email address Verizon Wireless has for you is correct.
    You can view your email address in the My Profile and Settings section on My Verizon.
  • Download the Hum app or visit theHum by Verizon customer websiteand complete the following:
    1. Create the account and enter the Hum System ID.
      The System ID can be found on the box for each Hum device or the label of the OBD reader.
    2. Install the OBD reader in your vehicle.
