Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Turn One-Handed Operations On / Off

Here's how to turn on Android Device Protection for your Galaxy S8 / S8+
  • Enabling one-handed operation adjusts screen size and layout for easy controlling of the device with one hand.
  • For first-time setup, hold device in one hand then quickly slide thumb from the corner of the screen to the middle.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Advanced features
    Motions and gestures
    One-handed mode
    .
  3. Tap the
    One-handed mode switch
     turn on or off.
  4. From the "Reduce screen size by using" section, tap one of the following:
    • Gesture
      : Swipe up diagonally from either bottom corner.
    • Button
      : Press the Home button 3 times.
