Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic.

Data usage info provided by the watch may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, call #DATA (#3282) from the watch or refer to the My Verizon website.

To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Connections

Data usage

Do any of the following:

View Data Usage

Change Data Usage Cycle:

Tap

Start billing cycle on

then select the appropriate start date.

Refer to your statement for the bill cycle date.

Tap

Done

Set Mobile Data Limit:

Tap

Seta data limit

to turn on.

Select the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap

Done

Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
