Here's how to view text messages for your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic.
This watch doesn't have the ability to send/receive iMessages. If you're using an Apple® iPhone® with this watch, disable iMessage to receive all text messages as SMS or MMS on your watch.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Home button
     to open the apps screen.

  3. Turn the bezel to scroll through, then select the message thread you wish to view.
