Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 - Turn Automatic App Restore On / Off

Here's info on backing up and restoring app data on your Galaxy Tab S3.
  • 'Automatic restore' allows backed up settings and data to be automatically restored when an app is reinstalled.
  • When attempting to determine whether a third-party app is the cause of an operating system / app issue, ensure 'Automatic restore' is turned off prior to performing a factory data reset.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    .
  3. Tap
    Backup and restore
    then ensure the
    Back up my data switch
     is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    Automatic restore
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
