Here's how to erase all data on the SD / memory card in your Galaxy Tab S3.
This procedure erases all data on the SD / memory card. It's recommended to back up your data before formatting.
To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.
  1. Ensure that your tablet isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.
  2. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  3. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Device care
    .
  4. Tap
    Storage
     (center of bottom row).
  5. Select the name of the SD / Memory Card.
    The name varies depending upon the type of card used.
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Storage settings
    .
  7. Tap
    Format
    .
  8. Review the disclaimer then tap
    Format SD card
    .
    Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
