Follow these instructions to send a Google message from your Android smartphone.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Messages app
    .
  2. From the Inbox, tap
    Start chat
    .
  3. Enter a 10-digit mobile number or a contact name.
  4. From the Text message field, enter a message.
    1. Tap the
      Add icon
       to attach a file, GIF, or contact.
    2. Tap the
      Photo/Camera icon
       to attach a new or saved photo.
  5. Tap the
    Send icon
    .
