ZTE Cymbal® LTE - Master Reset (Powered Off)

Here's how to reset your Cymbal to factory default settings if it has a blank / frozen screen or calling / app issues.
A Factory Data Reset:
  • is the last resort for troubleshooting.
  • erases all data and restores preferences to factory default specifications.
  • is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted.
  1. With the device turned off, simultaneouslypress and hold the
    Volume Up button
     and
    END key
     until the ZTE logo screen appears, then release.
    If the device is responsive and can be powered on, the preferred reset method should be performed.
  2. Press the
    Volume down button
     to highlight wipe data.
  3. Press the
    END key
     to select.
    If needed, set up your device.
