Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Manage DTMF Tones

Here's info on what to do if you're calling into an automated system and your dialpad entries aren't recognized.
If you're calling into an automated dial-in system (e.g., voicemail) and your dialpad entries aren't being recognized, view this info.
DTMF tones are used by automated dial-in systems such as Voicemail or where prompts are used to navigate.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap
    Phone
     Phone icon.
  2. Tap the
    More options icon
     More options icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
    .
  4. From the Call settings section, tap
    Other call settings
    .
  5. Tap
    DTMF tones
    then select one of the following:
    • Normal
    • Long
