Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Manage TTY Settings

Here's how to change the TTY settings on your Galaxy Note8.
TTY Settings allow Text Telephone devices (TTYs) to be enabled so that deaf and hard of hearing customers can use the telephone by utilizing a visual, instead of auditory, mode of communication.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
    Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap
    Phone Phone icon
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
    .
  4. From the Call settings section, tap
    Other call settings
    .
  5. Tap
    TTY mode
    .
  6. Select one of the following:
    • TTY OFF
      : Disables all TTY settings
    • TTY FULL
      : Enables all TTY settings
    • TTY HCO
      : Enables HCO (Hearing Carry Over)
    • TTY VCO
      : Enables VCO (Voice Carry Over)
