Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Turn Voice & Video On / Off - HD Voice

Here's how to turn voice and video calling on or off on your Galaxy Note8.
If you turn off HD Voice (Advanced Calling), you won't be able to make or receive calls on the Verizon cellular network.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Connections
    Advanced Calling
    Advanced Calling
    .
  4. Tap the
    Advanced Calling switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. If presented, review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  6. When turned on, select either of the following to enable or disable:
    Selected when a radio dot is present.
    • HD Voice and Video Calling
      When video calling is turned on, others can see that the phone has video calling.
    • HD Voice only
