Kyocera DuraXV LTE - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, broadcast channel, etc.) on your DuraXV LTE.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  2. Select
    Tools & Settings
    .
  3. Navigate
    Settings
    Wireless & Networks
    Tethering and Mobile Hotspot
  4. Select
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  6. Select
    Setup Mobile Hotspot
    .
  7. Highlight any of the following fields then edit the existing characters:
    • Network Name
      To hide your connection from other devices, navigate to Hide my device then press
      Left Soft Key
       to choose Set.
    • Password
      1. If preferred, highlight
        Show password
         then press the
        Left Soft Key
         to choose Check.
      2. Select the
        Password Field
         then enter the new password.
        The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
  8. Highlight the
    Security field
     then press the
    Left Soft Key
     to choose Set.
  9. Highlight an option (e.g., Open, WPA2 PSK, etc.) then select
    Set
  10. Highlight the
    Broadcast channel field
     then press the
    Left Soft Key
     to choose Set.
  11. Select an option. (e.g. Auto, 2, 11, etc.) then select
    Set
    .
  12. Select
    Save
    .
  13. Press the
    Right Soft Key
     to choose Continue.
