Disable or Enable Bixby Voice - Samsung

Here's how to disable or enable Bixby voice on your Samsung device.

Bixby requires an active Samsung ID to be added to the Samsung device running on Android™.

If the Samsung ID credentials can't be remembered, they can be retrieved or reset.

Completion of initial setup is required to manage the Bixby key or Bixby voice.

Refer to the appropriate Android version to setup your Samsung device for Bixby:

Android 8.x Devices

From the Bixby screen, tap the

Menu icon

then tap

Settings

From Bixby settings, tap the

Bixby Voice switch

to turn on Switch on

or off

Bixby Voice can't be disabled on Samsung devices with Android 9.x or newer software. To remove (hide) the Bixby Voice card:

From the Home screen, swipe right to the 'Take a look' screen then navigate:

Cards

From the Apps to show section, tap

Bixby Voice

Tap the

Bixby Voice switch

to turn on Switch on

or off

Removing the Bixby Voice card doesn't disable the Bixby Key.
