Turn Touch or Face ID On / Off

Manage your sign-in settings to use fingerprint or facial recognition for fast, secure access to the My Verizon app. You can enable or disable this feature at any time based on your preference.

Before you begin

Ensure fingerprint or facial recognition is enabled on your device before turning it on in the My Verizon app.

Steps

  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     then tap the
    Me tab
    .
  2. Tap
    Profile & settings
    .
  3. If One Verizon ID has been enabled, tap
    Manage settings
     from the One Verizon ID sign in section then tap
    Touch/Face ID
     or
    Biometrics
    .
  4. Tap the
    Biometrics switch
     or
    Touch/Face ID switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. If prompted, tap
    Accept terms
     then follow the onscreen prompts to register your ID.
