Here's how to add or remove scheduled time alerts using the Verizon Family parent app.
- Scheduled alerts locate your Dependent at a specific time on the days you choose.
- Alerts work even if the companion app isn't installed on your Dependent's device.If the Dependent isn't paired you will see "Location not available'.
- To perform the steps below and to get the most accurate location results, you need to:
- have a Premium subscription.The Premium and Plus plans can schedule multiple alerts.
- ensure the Guardian and Dependent devices are paired.
- ensure location sharing is on.
- ensure GPS is enabled on the device to be located.If necessary, refer to the device's user manual for instructions.
The new 'Free' plan can only schedule one alert. The Basic plan can't schedule alerts.
