Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Add an Existing Google Account

Adding a Gmail™ (Google™) account to your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap
    Google
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     (at the bottom) when finished.
  7. If preferred, tap
    Back up to Google Drive
     to turn on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
