Before you begin

If you're upgrading your existing Verizon device, follow these steps to activate before proceeding with the instructions below.
Make sure theSIM card is inserted into the device.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Power button
     to turn on your device.
  2. Select
    Express settings
    .
    Use the touchscreen or mouse to select the onscreen options.
  3. Create an account for your computer, enter the requested info (e.g., name, password, password hint).
  4. Connect to a preferred network (e.g., Mobile broadband, Wi-Fi).
  5. Allow several minutes for Windows® setup to complete.
