Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L - Port Filtering

Here's how to block access to services or apps on your MiFi 8800L.
  • Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.
  • Port Filtering is an advanced feature. For additional assistance, contact your IT support. To obtain settings, contact the app manufacturer.
  2. Click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. Click the
    Advanced tab
    , review the warning then click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    Port Filtering
     (below the Advanced tab, to the right).
  5. Click the
    Port Filtering
    switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. From the Applications section, select the desired app(s).
    Selected when a check mark is present.
    If the app is not listed, click
    Add Custom Application
     (lower-left) then enter the appropriate info.
    If turning off Port Filtering, skip to step 7.
  7. Click
    Save Changes
     (lower-right).
