Alcatel Avalon V - Insert or Remove SD / Memory Card

Here's how to insert or remove an SD / memory card for your Avalon V.
The Alcatel Avalon™ V supports microSD memory cards which can be purchased from any Verizon store or online.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. From the left edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray.
    Utilize the insertion/removal tool (or a paperclip) to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the tray.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SD / memory card
      With the gold contacts facing down and the notch located in the lower-left, insert the SD / memory card into the tray then press in on the card to lock into place.
    • Remove SD / memory card
      Lift the SD / memory card from the tray.
  4. Reinsert the SIM / SD / Memory Card tray and press in to lock it into place.
