Samsung Galaxy S10 5G - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your Galaxy S10 5G.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written without waiting or the need for an additional device.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accessibility
    Hearing enhancements
    Real Time Text
    .
  3. Tap
    RTT call button
    .
  4. Tap the preferred setting:
    • Visible during calls
      : Show the RTT call button Phone icon only during RTT calls.
    • Always visible
      : Show the RTT call button on the keypad and during all calls.
  1. With RTT enabled, open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the Keypad tab (lower-left), enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      RTT call icon
       RTT call icon.
    • From the Contacts tab, select a contact then tap the
      RTT call icon
      .
  1. While on a call, tap
