Samsung Galaxy S10 5G - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy S10 5G.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Biometrics and security
    Fingerprints
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Fingerprints' screen, review the tips then tap
        Continue
         (at the bottom).
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        (lower-right).
      4. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        If presented, re-enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
        Up to 4 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprints(s)
      1. Tap (check) the fingerprint you want to remove.
        To select all, touch and hold a fingerprint until selected then tap
        All
         (upper-left).
      2. Tap
        Remove
        (upper-right).
      3. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
