Enabling the spam filter in the Verizon Protect app helps reduce the number of spam and scam calls that ring your smartphone.

Before you begin

Call Filter provides additional caller detail (e.g., city, state, name, etc.) and enables you to manage and block spam calls.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Verizon Protect app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Services
    Call Filter
    Manage
    .
  3. Tap
    Spam & category filters
    .
  4. Tap the
    Spam filter switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Select which risk level you want to block:
    • High risk only
    • High and medium risk
    • All risk levels
  6. Tap the
    Allow voicemails switch
     to turn on or off.
