5G MiFi® M1000 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your 5G MiFi M1000 or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. From the Settings section, select the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow.
  3. Select the
    Advanced tab
    , review the warning then select
    Continue
    .
  4. Select
    SIM
     then do any of the following:
    • Turn SIM PIN On / Off
      1. From the Desired Action dropdown, select
        Turn on PIN Lock
        .
      2. In the Current PIN field, enter the current SIM PIN then select
        Save Changes
        .
        The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    • Modify SIM PIN
      1. From the Desired Action dropdown, select
        Change PIN
        .
      2. Enter the current PIN and new PIN into the appropriate fields then select
        Save Changes
        .
