Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy A50 to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapConfigure.
- TapAdvancedthen configure the following as needed:
- Network name
- Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- Password
- Tap thePassword fieldto remove the existing password.
- Enter the preferred password then tapSave.
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Broadcast channel (e.g., Auto, 1, 7, etc.)
- Turn off when device connected for (e.g., 20 minutes, never timeout, etc.)
- TapHidden Networkto turn on or off.
- TapSave.
