Samsung Galaxy A50 - Turn App Permissions On / Off
Here's how to turn permissions for installed apps on your Galaxy A50 on or off.
- Downloaded apps designed for Android™ only ask for permission the first time you use a feature rather than asking for permission out of context.
- Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.
- Open theSettings app.
- TapApps.
- Locate then select the appropriate app.If system apps aren't visible:
- Tap theFilter and sort icon

- Tap theShow system apps switchto turn on.
- If available, tapPermissions(Privacy section) then do one of the following:
- To allow an app permission:
- From the 'Denied' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
- Tap an option other than deny (e.g., 'Ask every time' or 'Allow only while using the app'.
- Tap theBack icon
to return to the 'App permissions' screen.
- To deny an app permission:
- From the 'Allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
- TapDeny.
- If prompted, review message then tapDeny anywayto confirm.
