Troubleshooting MME Communication Failure - 4G LTE Network Extender 2
Check out this info if you're receiving an MME Communication Failure on your 4G LTE Network Extender 2.
- Power the device off then back on.
- Refer to the internet service provider (ISP), Network Admin, or equipment manufacturer to verify the following aren't causing issues that would prevent the Network Extender from communicating with the backend servers:
- LAN / Firewall Settings (refer to Adjust Firewall / DMZ Settings for more info)
- Connectivity Status
- Available Bandwidth (refer to Ensure Minimum Speed / Bandwidth Requirements for more info)
- If possible, connect the device at a secondary location, using a different internet service provider to confirm the issues are not with the primary location's ISP.If the Network Extender works with a different ISP, repeat Step 2.
If you continue to receive the MME Communication Failure, after the above steps have been completed, contact Verizon Customer Service for additional troubleshooting.
