Alcatel GO FLIP V - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your GO FLIP V.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit My Verizon website.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. From the main screen on your Alcatel GO FLIP™ V, select
    Menu
    .
    Use the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Wireless & networks
    Mobile Networks
    .
  3. Select
    Data usage
     then do one of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Select
        Monthly usage cycle
        .
      2. Select the date to match the first day of your bill cycle then select
        Save
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Select
        Limit data usage
        .
      2. Use the navigation pad to scroll through the following options then configure as preferred:
        • Limit (On or Off)
        • Amount
          Select amount of data to limit. Any number up to 999.
        • Unit
          Select MB or GB. (1024 MB = 1 GB)
      3. After you have made your selections, select
        Save
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      1. Select
        Data usage alert
        .
      2. Use the navigation pad to select an option:
        • Unit
          Select MB or GB. (1024 MB = 1 GB)
        • Amount
          Select the amount of data used to alert you.
        • Alert (On or Off)
      3. After you have made your selections, select
        Save
        .
    • View Data Usage:
      1. Select
        Data usage
        .
      2. Press the left or right side of the navigation pad to select an option:
        • Summary
          Shows total data usage for all apps and processes.
        • Usage by app
          Shows data usage for an individual app or process.
          Highlight then select an option (e.g., internet, email, etc.) to view Total, Foreground and Background data.
