Alcatel GO FLIP™ V - Set Up Phone Lock

Here's how to create a PIN to secure your GO FLIP V.
The Phone Lock feature helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and making calls. The device can still receive calls and place emergency 911 calls.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

    Settings
    .
  3. Select
    Phone settings
    .
  4. Select
    Security
    .
  5. Select
    Screen lock
    .
  6. Utilize the navigation pad to turn on of off and follow the steps below:
    • To turn on:
      1. Enter a 4-digit PIN then select
        Next
        .
        Highlight 'Show PIN' then press the
        left soft key
         soft key to display the PIN as it's being entered.
      2. Re-enter the PIN to confirm then select
        OK
        .
    • To turn off:
      1. Enter the 4-digit PIN then select
        OK
        .
      2. Highlight 'Off' then select
        OK
