Nokia 3 V - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot Settings (e.g., Network name, password, etc.) for your Nokia 3 V.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap the
    Mobile hotspot switch
     to turn on.
    If prompted, tap
    OK
    .
  4. Tap
    Configure Mobile Hotspot
     then configure the following as needed:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security (WPA2 PSK or None)
    • AP Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
    • Hotspot password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        SAVE
        .
  5. Tap
    SAVE
    .
  6. To adjust Timeout settings, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    Advanced
    .
  7. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select a preferred option (e.g., Never turn off, 5 mins, etc).
