Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Galaxy Tab S5e.
  1. Ensure a secure lock screen type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Biometrics and security
    Face Recognition
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Review the 'Face recognition' message then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. From the 'Do you wear glasses' screen, select 'yes' or 'no' then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the square displayed on-screen.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
      5. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap the
        switch
         to turn each option on or off (e.g. Face unlock, Stay on Lock Screen, etc.)
    • Add another recognized face:
      1. Tap
        Add alternative look
        .
      2. From the 'Do you wear glasses' screen, select 'yes' or 'no' then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the square displayed on-screen.
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
