Activate your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM card, make sure there's a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    Start
    .
  2. Review the Terms and Privacy screen, then tap
    Agree
    .
  3. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap
    Next
    .
  4. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  5. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content now or tap
    Don't copy
    .
  6. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  7. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services options (e.g., Google Drive, Location, etc.).
  8. Set up a screen lock and face recognition or fingerprints to secure your device.
  9. To configure voice options for the Google Assistant, tap
    I agree
    .
  10. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and Apps info, tap
    Accept
  11. Tap
    Accept
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or to secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  12. Sign in to your Samsung account to access Galaxy-specific features.
  13. Tap
    Done
     to complete setup.
