Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Configure
     then update any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
    • Password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
         to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
  4. To adjust Timeout settings, tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
    then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.).
  6. Tap
    Save
    .
