Google Pixel 4 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Pixel 4 / 4 XL or turn it on / off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security
    Advanced settings
    SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. If using multiple SIM cards choose the card name.
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
