Here's how to find the device ID (IMEI) for your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    About tablet
    .
  3. Tap
    Status
    .
  4. Tap
    IMEI Information
    .
  5. View the IMEI.
    The IMEI also displays on the About Tablet screen beneath the Serial number.
    If the IMEI can't be viewed from the device, you can view it via the My Verizon website.
