LG V60 ThinQ 5G UW - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, Wi-Fi name, timeout settings, etc.) on your V60 ThinQ 5G UW.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. From the Mobile Hotspot screen, select
    Set up Mobile Hotspot
    .
    If unavailable, tap the
    Mobile Hotspot switch
    .
  4. From the Set Up Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • Wi-Fi name (SSID)
    • Hide my phone
    • Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • From the 'Max users' drop-down menu, select the maximum number of hotpot users (1-10).
    • If needed, tap
      Show advanced options
      .
    • When Advanced options are enabled, configure the following:
      1. Tap the appropriate Broadcast channel (i.e. Auto-select, 1 - 11).
      2. Tap the appropriate 802.11 Mode (b only, g only or b/g/n).
  5. Tap
    Save
    .
  6. Tap
    Timeout
     the select the preferred option (e.g., 5 mins, 10 mins, etc.).
