Adjust Brightness / Display SettingsBy adjusting screen settings (e.g., Brightness, Font style, Screen timeout, etc.) on your moto g stylus, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapDisplay.
- Do any of the following:
- To adjust brightness settings:
- TapBrightness level, then adjust theslideras preferred.
- TapAdaptive brightness.
- Tap theAdaptive brightness switchto turn on or off.
- To adjust font settings:
- TapAdvanced.
- Tap theDark theme switchto turn on or off.
- TapScreen timeoutthen select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
- TapColorsthen select an option (e.g., Natural, Boosted, Saturated).
- Tap theBack arrowto return to the Display screen.
- TapFont sizethen touch and hold thegreen dotto the preferred option (e.g., Small, Default, etc.).
- Tap theBack arrowto return to the Display settings screen.
- TapDisplay sizethen touch and hold thegreen dotto the preferred option (e.g., Default, Large, etc.).
- Tap theBack arrowto return to the Display settings screen.
- To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
- TapScreen saver.
- TapCurrent screen saverthen select a setting (e.g., Clock, Colors, Photos).
- Tap theSettings iconto configure advanced settings for the selected screen saver.
- TapWhen to startthen select an option (e.g. While charging, While docked, While charging or docked, Never).
